We're a new book group which is also new to book blogging. Since November we have met thrice and talked about:
* book covers and their appeal- whether we would spend our hard earned (?) pocket money on the books;
* we've got to know each other by talking about our favourite characters, ever!
* We've also decided who we are most alike, both from our current reads and our favourite reads.

Having debated our preferred book covers, we voted in favour of 'The Knife of Never Letting Go.' We chose the hard back cover for this book because we like all of the scattered words, as they created mystery and intrigue.
We also felt the knife was effective due to its bold nature, suggesting danger and threat.

This book has so far been the most popular and the rest of us are waiting to get stuck in!

The Knife of Never Letting Go looks cool-but I'm wondering about the substance behind the cover...

The Knife of Never Letting Go's cover looks amazing but so does COSMIC.

So far I have read Cosmic by Frank Cottrel Boyce and really enjoyed it. It was a nice "chocolate bar" book (gardengirl will know what I mean) written in a nice, sort of naïve way. I would recommend it. Anyone else read it?

The books are great and the club means that only booky people can read the BESTSELLERS
